Value of Volunteering
In 2005 I spent a year mentoring Rebecca through Chance UK a London children's charity works with disadvantaged children between the ages of 5-10 arranging mentors for them. Previous to that I have volunteered at Citizen's Advice Bureau, worked with homeless kids and been a bush fire-fighter. Volunteering has given me some of the best experiences of my life and I strongly recommend getting involved with your community.
During my motorcycle trip I am going to raise money for Casa Alianza.
Casa Alianza works with more than 12,000 street children in Central America. 100% of the money donated will go to the projects that I will visit as part of the trip.
